The conference addressed some of the most pressing challenges in modern sports medicine, including traumatic brain injury, concussion management, artificial intelligence, emerging medical technologies, women’s health, nutrition, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
As part of the panel on traumatic brain injury, chaired by Dr Allen Sills, Chief Medical Officer of the NFL, Florent Aziri presented on **”Precision Medicine in Neurology: From Binary Concussion Diagnosis to Precision Brain Health in Elite Sport.”**
His presentation highlighted the limitations of current concussion diagnostics and the potential of precision medicine to improve the assessment, monitoring and recovery of athletes. **For SAFP, participation in this international summit reflects its commitment to advancing evidence-based player healthcare, strengthening international collaboration and ensuring that the long-term health and well-being of football players remain a central priority.**
