A meeting of football, dialogue and new perspectives

The SAFP was present at the World Football Summit Madrid 2026, gathering moments of dialogue, networking and knowledge-sharing with different professionals and key figures from the football industry.

Throughout the event, our Player Relations Manager, João Paiva, represented the SAFP and shared the association’s perspective on the importance of protecting and supporting football players, both on and off the pitch.

Among the people we had the opportunity to meet and connect with in Madrid were:

David Aganzo — President of AIF and AFE, Vice President of RFEF and former professional footballer.

João Paiva — SAFP Player Relations Manager, professional football player and football coach, representing the association and contributing to the dialogue around the future of football and player protection.

Silvio De Oliveira — Talent Manager at FC Zürich, with experience as a former professional footballer, football coach and mentor.

Andrea Albertoni — Founder of dfend group, a partner of the SAFP, focused on international wealth protection and tailored solutions for elite athletes and HNWIs.
